Here's today's Fear the Newsletter, where we will always try to set you up like Kyrie passing to LeBron off the glass.
TALK TO ME: The Cavs had Monday off and spent it in L.A. Not bad a place to have some time off.
LEGEND HAS IT: The Cavs are off today, but will head to Denver after spending Monday in Los Angeles. But per cleveland.com's Joe Vardon, the team practice in Beverly Hills before going to Denver. No word if they went bowling.
ALL DUE RESPECT: The Celtics beat the Wizards in a game that impacted the Cavs directly. The Warriors throttled the Thunder and there was a scuffle. The Pacers beat the Jazz despite a huge night from Gordon Hayward. James Harden carried the Rockets to a win over the Nuggets. The Clippers played late against the Knicks. The Raptors and Spurs had the night off.
The Cavs enter Tuesday two games up on the Celtics, 4.5 games up on the Wizards and and 5.5 games up on the Raptors.
JOB WELL DONE: Here's a post on Nike and LeBron debuting shoes built for athletes with disabilities. Later today, FTS will have posts up on Tristan Thompson's recent play and another on why the Cavs' roster is a luxury for Tyronn Lue.
Also: Subscribe to the Locked on Cavaliers podcast. Today's show covers the Cavs' defensive struggles.
CROWN: Vulture has a great Q&A with Lewis Tan, aka the guy who probably should have been Iron Fist. The WaPo shows that there are fewer coal minders then you'll realize. SI's Rohan Nadkarni on why KD ad the Thunder don't owe each other anything. The Ringer's Jonathan Tjarks on UCLA's brilliance. And Buzzfeed as a cool profile on the guy behind Silicon Valley's Drudge Report.
That's it for today. Drop your questions, comments and concerns to christopherwmanning@gmail.com and we'll talk tomorrow before Cavs-Nuggets.
