Here's today's Fear the Newsletter, where we will always try to set you up like Kyrie passing to LeBron off the glass.
TALK TO ME: LeBron James was dominant and the Cavs beat the Hornets to sweep the season series between the two teams. But LeBron did suffer a scratched cornea.
LEGEND HAS IT: The Cavs and Wizards play tonight at 7:30 p.m. in a game with Eastern Conference implications. No word on if LeBron will play.
ALL DUE RESPECT: Wizards 129, Nets 108. Celtics 130, Suns 120. And Devin Booker scored 70. Rockets 117, Pelicans 107. Warriors 114, Kings 100. The Raptors, Clippers, Jazz and Spurs had the night off.
The Cavs enter Saturday one game up on the Celtics, 3.5 games up on the Wizards and and four games up on the Raptors.
JOB WELL DONE: Kevin Love is going to be playing back-to-backs.
Also: Subscribe to the Locked on Cavaliers podcast. The latest episode previews Cavs-Wizards game.
CROWN: ESPN's Larry Coon has a great story up on two-way contracts. FanSided's Scott Rafferty on how KAT uses the triple-threat position like a guard. SI's Grant Wahl has a great Q&A with Michael Bradley. io9 on why Iron Fist would have been better with an Asian-American Danny Rand. And CNN's Brian Stelter has a great podcast with Chris Arnade.
That's it for today. Drop your questions, comments and concerns to christopherwmanning@gmail.com and we'll talk again tomorrow.
