NBA: San Antonio Spurs at Cleveland Cavaliers Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

Here's today's Fear the Newsletter, where we will always try to set you up like Kyrie passing to LeBron off the glass.

TALK TO ME: Nothing new with the Cavs today. The only news to break was Larry Sanders being assigned to the D-League.

LEGEND HAS IT: Cavs-Spurs is not only a potential Finals matchup, but has direct implications on playoff seeding. If the Cavs lose, the Celtics will take sole ownership of first place in the East. Tipoff is at 8 p.m. on TNT.

ALL DUE RESPECT: Celtics 112, Heat 108. Warriors 106, Grizzlies 94. Kings 98, Clippers 97. Rockets 137, Thunder 125. The Wizards, Jazz, Spurs and Raptors all had the night off.

The Cavs enter Monday tied with the Celtics, 2.5 games up on the Wizards and and 3.5 games up on the Raptors.

JOB WELL DONE: LeBron's goggles didn't even make it a quarter against the Wizards.

Also: Subscribe to the Locked on Cavaliers podcast. Today's show covers the Cavs' defense and previews Monday's Cavs-Spurs game. There's also a fun giveaway that just started.

CROWN: The Ringer's Danny Chau on UNC's epic win over Kentucky. The WaPo's Chuck Culpepper has a great gamer of Oregon's win over Kansas. SB Nation NBA's on why the NBA should kill the draft. The Athletic's Zac Jackson on the annual Josh Gordon conversation. And an old NPR post on the power of simplicity.

That's it for today. Drop your questions, comments and concerns to christopherwmanning@gmail.com and we'll talk again tomorrow.
