Iman Shumpert will return tomorrow when the Cleveland Cavaliers face the Chicago Bulls, per Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com. Shumpert has missed the team’s two games with a sore right knee.
“He practiced today, full practice,” Cavs coach Tyronn Lue said, per Cleveland.com.
In other Cavs news, Richard Jefferson missed Wednesday’s practice with tendonitis. Lue, though, did say that everyone besides Korver will play against the Bulls. And as expected, Kyle Korver missed practice as well. He is still dealing with a sore right foot. The team hopes Korver, who will miss Thursday and Friday’s game, can play Sunday against the Indiana Pacers.
If you’re the Cavs, it’s a bit concerning that Jefferson is dealing with tendonitis. But if he’s going to play, that’s a good sign. It’s also good that Shumpert will return. And if Korver can return Sunday, that’d be ideal too, as long as his foot is fully ready to go.
The Cavs and Bulls tipoff tomorrow at 8 p.m. on TNT.
