Fear the Newsletter: Can the Cavs build on Friday's win?

That and more in today’s newsletter.

NBA: Philadelphia 76ers at Cleveland Cavaliers Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

Here's today's Fear the Newsletter, where we will always try to set you up like Kyrie passing to LeBron off the glass.

TALK TO ME: The Cavs had off Saturday and nothing else really happened. Larry Sanders, though, did play his back-to-back with the Canton Charge.

LEGEND HAS IT: The Cavs do face the Pacers today in the game that has implications on the Cavs' playoff seeding. Here's FTS' game preview.

ALL DUE RESPECT: Clippers 115, Lakers 104. Like the Cavs, the Warriors, Rockets, Spurs, Celtics, Raptors and Wizards had Saturday off.

The Cavs enter Saturday a half game behind the Celtics and 2.5 games up on both the Wizards and Raptors. If the season ended today, the Cavs would face the Bulls in the first round.

JOB WELL DONE: Like the Cavs, FTS had a quiet Saturday.

Also: Subscribe to the Locked on Cavaliers podcast. There's also a fun giveaway that wraps up tomorrow.

CROWN: The WaPo's Chuck Culpepper had a great gamer of North Carolina's win over Oregon. The Ringer's Jonathan Tjarks on why big men will decide the national championship. SB Nation's Paul Flannery on the rise of Giannis. The Atlantic's Derek Thompson the value of an elite college. And The Ringer's Ben Lindbergh on every team trying to find their own Andrew Miller.

That's it for today. Drop your questions, comments and concerns to christopherwmanning@gmail.com and we'll talk again tomorrow.
