According to Tristan Thompson, LeBron James should the MVP and is the league’s bast player:
Tristan on LeBron: "He should be the MVP, but I heard your guys’ votes are in already. So damn. That sucks. He’s the MVP. Best player."

LeBron has a strong case for MVP and, even if he doesn’t win the award (Russell Westbrook and James Harden seem like the favorites to win the award) many still consider him to be the best player in the world.
If anything, Games 3 and 4 against the Pacers only lend credence to James’ MVP case. In Game 3, the Cavs came back from a 25 point halftime deficit in an effort that was orchestrated almost exclusively by him. Both Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love had off nights and James pulled the game out in the fourth.
In Game 4, James hit a late three that helped Cleveland stave off an Indiana comeback and complete the sweep. In this game, he had a chasedown block of Thad Young and a epic lockdown of Lance Stephenson. The Cavs weren’t going to win these games without LeBron being LeBron.
Thompson hints at something important too. The MVP is a regular season award and, at least in recent year, LeBron isn’t playing at his best until the playoffs. When the full-on LeBron MVP-level performances come night after night, they often serve as a reminder of how good he is.
