With a win tonight in Boston, the Cleveland Cavaliers can wrap up a third straight trip to the NBA Finals. How exciting is that?
The last two games — and, more specifically, the six quarter before the Cavs’ second half barrage in Game 4 — have not been the Cavs at their best. Nor has LeBron James been at his best. But the second half of Game 4 offered the glimpse back to Cleveland rolling at all cylinders. LeBron looked like the LeBron he was for the first 12 games of this year’s playoffs. Kyrie Irving had his best game of the postseason by far. And Kevin Love continued to play the best playoff basketball of his career.
Will Boston go down easy? No. Will their crowd stay quiet? Not a chance. But the Cavs are coming in off a great finish to Game 3. If that group shows up, this could be over quickly.
