If you’re like me, you’re dying with this long layoff before the NBA Finals kicks off. The tension, the back and forth between teams, and the anxiety of not knowing what will come next.
We are in the middle of what surely will go down as one of the NBA’s best rivalries. With all the changes in personnel, as well as the internal growth both teams have benefited from, chapter 3 of this rivalry barely resembles what these teams were in 2015 (even before the injuries).
Even though so much has changed, it still doesn’t hurt to look back at how we go to this point. Especially if you’re looking back at the 2016 Finals when the Cavs came back from 3-1 to win.
