Tonight, after Thursday’s loss, the Cleveland Cavaliers get a second crack at the Golden State Warriors in Game 2. After to much went wrong in Game 1 — 20 turnovers, six Kevin Durant dunks, Steph Curry being Steph Curry, etc. — the Cavs need to rebound in Game 2. A win here, tying the series at one all as it shifts back to Cleveland, would be huge.
It is worth noting, though, that the Cavs were throttled last year. In Game 2, also at Oracle, the Cavs lost 110-77 with Draymond Green scoring 28 point and the Warriors outscoring the Cavs 58-33 in the second half. And while this is a different, better Golden State squad, last year is proof that a Game 2 loss isn’t the end. That, though, doesn’t mean a 2-0 hole is ideal.
Here’s how to watch.
