The Cleveland Cleveland are in a 2-0 hold vs. the Golden State Warriors as the series shifts back to Cleveland. It’s not an ideal place to be, and the Cavs have some work to do, but this was where they were last year. Even if the two teams are different.
For the Cavs, tonight is all about getting a win that gets them back into the series in some way. That has to involve more contribution from Kyrie Irving. It also has to involve more contribution from the likes of Tristan Thompson, J.R. Smith and other role players. And it probably means a little bit of luck.
For the Cavs to win, it’s probably going to take four quarters, take a miraculous LeBron James performance and maybe more.
