One the ongoing questions about the ongoing Kyrie Irving saga is if he and LeBron James have talked at all or if their relationship is beyond repair. There have been rumblings that they’ve both been in Miami and maybe have met, but the details are fuzzy.
One person with insight into the relationship between James and Irving is ex-Cavs guard Dahntay Jones, who has been with the team during the last two titles run. On SiriusXM, Jones said of James and Irving that “Nothing’s to a point where it can’t be fixed. It can be fixed with a small conversation.”

Jones is one of the few people who could comment on this situation accurately, as he knows both well and, despite being with the team for only a short time, was a leader in the team’s locker room. And he was recently playing pickup ball with James in New York City, so perhaps he has some added insight into the situation from talking to James.
Jones also touched on LeBron’s desire to win and why he’d like to talk to Kyrie about the situation.
