The Cavs acquired Crowder, Isaiah Thomas and Ante Zizic in exchange for Kyrie Irving. In Clevleand, it’s unclear what Crowder’s role will be. Right now, that’s likely not on his mind.
Last year with the Celtics, the 27-year-old Crowder appeared in 72 games - all starts - and averaged 13.9 points and 5.8 rebounds while shooting a career-best 39.8 percent from three. He is signed through the 2019-20 season.
Per Cleveland.com, the Cavs are hoping to have an introductory press conference for Crowder, Thomas and Zizic in the next few weeks.
