We might not know who the Cavaliers will have as their entrenched starting point guard next season due to the deal that sent Kyrie Irving to Boston and Isaiah Thomas to Cleveland being held up due to concerns about Thomas’ hip injury.
We do know that NBA 2K18 has both of the rated very highly in the latest edition of the basketball video game series.

Kyrie Irving comes in at a 90 for the season, while Thomas used his breakout season that landed him in 5th place in the MVP vote to land at 89.
For all the consternation between the Celtics and Cavs fanbases about the relative value of each point guard, it’s funny to see just how similar each player is to one another. Both are volume scorers that manage to stay efficient due to great shooting and finishing while being total sieves on defense.
If nothing else, this season should be an unbelievable test for each of their respective values when placed in a new circumstance. If Thomas is healthy, we should have some answers.
