On Thursday, the newest Cavaliers will publicly comment on the trade that brought them to Cleveland for the first time.
In a press release, the Cavs announced that Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder and Ante Zizic will be introduced Thursday at Cleveland Clinic Courts, the team’s practice facility, at an introductory press conference. GM Koby Altman and head coach Tyronn Lue will also be made available to media in attendance.
Thomas has been in Cleveland since Tuesday working out his hip with the Cavs’ training staff and his health is likely to be one of the main focuses of the press conference. None of the players in the deal have publicly commented on the deal, which sent Kyrie Irving to the Celtics. Irving had his introductory press conference last week in Boston. Neither Altman or Lue have commented on the deal either, so Thursday marks Cleveland’s first public statement on the deal aside from the press release announcing it.
The presser starts at 11 a.m. and will be available live on cavs.com.
