The Cavaliers were on the verge of picking up a needed win on Friday, and maybe should have. But a blown lead and LeBron James stepping out of bounds with seconds left to play resulted in a 97-95 loss.

The Cavs have now lost to the Pacers three times this season. They have also lost three straight games, seven of their last nine and finished their current five-game road trip 1-4.

After losing to Raptors by 34 on Thursday, the Cavs lead the Pacers by 22 points after one, by 14 at the half and were still up by six with just under four minutes to go. But from 3:57 on, Cleveland failed to score a single basket.

They, though, had a chance to win before James stepped out of bounds with XX seconds to go. After the Cavs fouled Darren Collision, and Collision spilt his two free throws, James missed a three-pointer with 1.4 seconds left after Kevin Love threw a full-court pass from the baseline.

James finished with 27 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds. Love finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Collision led Indiana with 22 points with Lance Stephenson adding 16 points off the bench.

The Cavs are off the next two days before hosting the Warriors on Monday. Tipoff is at 8 p.m.
