Final Score: Cavs fall to Spurs 114-102

Cleveland drops another one as LeBron reaches a career milestone.

On Tuesday, LeBron James became the seventh player in NBA history is score 30,000 career points. And that’s about all that went well for the Cavaliers.

The Cavs lost to the Spurs 114-102 in San Antonio. The Cavs have now lost two straight and seven of their last 10.

LeBron James lead the Cavs with 28 points to go along with nine rebounds and seven assists. Isaiah Thomas scored 14 points, eight of which came from the free throw line. Thomas had just one assist and was 3-9 from the floor. LaMarcus Aldridge led the Spurs with 30 points.

James hit the 30,000 point mark with 1.1 seconds left in the first quarter, giving the Cavs a 29-25 lead in the process. But San Antonio proceed to rip off a 38 point quarter and took an eight point lead into the half. The Spurs never trailed again.

The Cavs were partially done in by 18 turnovers that lead to 21 Spurs points. They next play on Friday at home against the Indiana Pacers. Tipoff is at 7:30 p.m.
