The Cavs are getting some good injury news for the first time in a while.
According to head coach Larry Drew, George Hill will play on Saturday vs. the Raptors after missing 11 games with a shoulder sprain. According to Drew, Hill will be able to play around 20 minuets and it’s unclear if he will start or not. Drew did say that Sexton will remain a starter.
Getting Hill back is unquestionably good for the Cavs, who need his veteran presence on the floor. Ideally, he can help Cleveland, too, by playing with Collin Sexton and splitting up the Sexton-Jordan Clarkson combo. Aside from how Sexton looks, how Drew deploys Hill may be the most important thing to watch in tonight’s game.
To date, Hill has started in all 10 games he has played in this year. He’s averaging 12.6 points and three assists per game this season.
The Cavs also say that Ante Zizic is out with a left knee injury he suffered last night against the Celtics.
