The Cavaliers have identiniately banned the fan who yelled a racial slur at Spurs guard Patty Mills on Sunday at Quicken Loans Arena, the team announced Monday. A review of the fan’s status will occur after one year. The name of the fan was not released.

In the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game, a fan yelled “Hey Jamaica called, they want their bobsledder back. Hey Mills, Jamaica just called, they want their bobsledder back!” A fan who originally posted the video of the slur misheard the words as “Hey, Jamaican dog,” per ESPN.

Mills, a native Australian who is black, has only commented on the incident through a tweet sent out late Sunday evening. His mother is a native Australian, while his father is a Torres Strait Islander.
