LeBron James’ game winner against the Timberwolves, here in all it’s glory thanks to r/nba:
How this worked out is sort of remarkable. First off, if J.R. Smith hadn’t remembered to call a timeout before this, the Cavs and Wolves probably play a second overtime. Then, James has to be able to catch a pass with Jimmy Butler trailing him and Karl-Anthony Towns trying to block Jeff Green’s visions.
When he catches the ball, James also fades away, thus keeping Butler from having a real chance of blocking this shot. And then it goes in, with James immediately throwing his arms up in celebration. The Cavs really, really, REALLY seemed to need this one, and James delivered.
