The Cavs might get Rodney Hood back Tuesday against the Suns. Maybe.

Per cleveland.com, Hood is questionable for the Cavs’ game in Phoenix as he deals with a lower back strain that kept him out of Sunday’s game against the Lakers and caused him to leave Friday’s game against the Clippers. It is not known if Hood will start if he is active. He did, however, participated in the Cavs’ shootaround.

It would be a good thing for the Cavs if Hood can return and play his normal minutes. With Cedi Osman out, Hood’s absence leaves Cleveland a little thin on the wing. On Sunday, coach Tyronn Lue used two-way player John Holland to fill minutes to mixed results.

Jeff Green started in Hood’s place against the Lakers.
