LeBron James has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the third time this season. This is also a NBA-record 60th time James has been named player of the week in his 15-year NBA career.

WIth the Cavs going 2-1 last week, James averaged 32 points, 13.3 rebounds and 9.7 assists per game and capped off his week with two consecutive triple-doubles. His points per game average was the NBA’s best mark, while his assists were the league’s second best average and his rebounds were good for third in the league. He was also tied for first in triple-doubles and double-doubles, second in blocks per game and tied for fifth in steals in per game.
Thunder guard Russell Westbrook was named the Western Conference Player of the Week.
