The Cavaliers trailed for a whopping five minutes and 50 seconds en route to a 120-95 win Friday night at home against the Suns.
LeBron James led the way with 27 points, nine rebounds and six assists befor e sitting the entire fourth quarter. Kevin Love added 20 points and six rebounds in his third back from injury. Troy Daniels led Phoenix with 20 points.
The Cavs took the lead back for good with 8:04 left in the second quarter and led by 17 points at halftime. When James went to bench for good, Cleveland held a 22-point lead. Love checked for the night with 5:50 to go, with Larry Drew emptying out the Cavs’ bench to finish the game out.
The Cavs also welcome backed three players — Larry Nance Jr., Tristan Thompson and Rodney Hood — back from injury against the Suns. Nance Jr., who missed four games with a hamstring issue, scored 15 points and pulled down 10 rebounds in addition to starting the second half in place of an ill Jeff Green. Thompson had four points and 10 rebounds after missing nine games with an ankle sprain. Hood scored nine points off the bench after missing three games with a back injury.
