After losing Rodney Hood to injury, the Cavs are now down another man. The team says rookie wing Cedi Osman, who started the second half in place of Hood, has a left hip strain and will not return.
Cavs becoming even more short handed: Cedi Osman OUT w/ a L hip strain. #Cavs

It’s not clear when or how Osman hurt his up, or if it’s an injury that will keep him out beyond the Clippers game. He finished his night with three points and one steal in 11 minutes.
With Hood and Osman out, the Cavs are now thin on the wing. In place of Osman in the fourth quarter, Tyronn Lue went with J.R. Smith, putting in Smith well before he normally would return in the fourth quarter. With Kyle Korver also on the floor, it seem like Lue will have to get creative in order to fill wing minutes in this place, and perhaps Sunday against the Lakers. Two-way player John Holland, who is with the Cavs on their current road trip, could be a ‘break glass in case of emergency’ option.
