With that, the Cavaliers’ regular season is over.

On Wednesday, the Cavs lost to the Knicks 110-98 in a game they decided to punt on early. LeBron James scored 10 points in 10 minutes to continue his streak of double-digit scoring games. He also played in all 82 games for the first time in his 15-year NBA career.

John Holland led the Cavs with 21 points. Cedi Omsan set a new career-high the Cavs with 18 points. Luke Kornet led the Knicks with 23 points.

Cleveland and New York were tied at 20 points apiece at the end of the first quarter. By halftime, they trailed by 20 points. The Cavs were able to trim the lead down into the low teens in the third and fourth quarters, and came as close as eight points in the fourth.

To start the second half, the team played Osman, two-way players London Perrantes and John Holland, Tristan Thompson and Ante Zizic. Kendrick Perkins checked in for Zizic — who later came back for Thompson — in the quarter. No other Cavaliers played in the second half.

With a 50-32 record, the Cavs finished as the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference. They’ll face the Pacers when the NBA playoffs start this weekend.
