This game, somehow, feels vital.
Did anyone expect the Cavs to be here, down 2-1 to the Pacers in the first round of the playoffs? Yes, there were concerns about how good this Cavs team actually was and, yes, they were fair concerns. But because of LeBron James, because of what this team has overcome in the last few seasons, there was an expectation that it would all be fine, at lest to an extent.
But this is a different team, with only five players from last year’s Finals team and only four players (one of whom doesn’t play anymore) left from the 2016 title winner. If this year’s Cavs are going to make that same type of run, Game 4 is a good time to start playing like it.
