It’s not yet clear if the Cavs will have their starting point guard back for Wednesday’s game.

According to the Cavs, point guard George Hill is considered questionable for Wednesday’s Game 5 against the Pacers. Hill is dealing with back spasms that kept him out of the Cavs’ Game 4 win and have been bothering since he was blindsided by a screen from Pacers forward Trevor Booker in Game 1.

Hill is still undergoing treatment — including getting four shots in his back before Game 4 — but was unable to go. Jose Calderon started in his place, played 19 minutes and scored five points to go along with two assists.

According to Cavs coach Tyronn Lue, Hill participated in shooting drills at Tuesday’s practice. If Hill is good to go, Lue says he will start.

Cleveland needs Hill back, as he provides some ball handling alongside LeBron James and gives Cleveland another body to defend on the wing. So far in the playoffs, he is averaging 8.7 points and and 1.7 assists in three games.
