George Hill to remain out vs Wizards

Hill isn’t ready to return from a sprained ankle just yet.

George Hill hasn’t played since March 30 when he injured in ankle in a win against the Pelicans, and while he appears to be getting closer to his return, he won’t suit up against the Washington Wizards on Thursday night.

This injury has been really disappointing for Hill, who was genuinely starting to find his stride in the Cavaliers lineup with Kevin Love returning from injury. Hill is best used as a third or preferably fourth option in the Cavs attack, and he’s been quite good at attacking a destabilized defense.

At this point for the Cavaliers, they really need to get healthy, especially when players expected to be in their playoff rotation. That starts with Tyronn Lue, who will make his return to the sidelines for the Cavaliers on Thursday night against the Wizards.

They’ve played well as of late, but we don’t really know what this team is yet. Hopefully we find out soon.
