The shoe LeBron James wore in one of his best, and most iconic, performances is getting a retro release.
On Monday, Nike unveiled its Nike’s “Art of a Champion” collection that pays homage to the number of wins a team needs to win an NBA title, has 14 shoes from 14 significant moments from different athletes, a Air Force 270 inspired by the Larry O’Brien trophy and TBD shoe that will be have a design inspired by this year’s NBA champion.
Part of the pack is the Zoom LeBron Soldier 1 James wore when he scored 25 straight points in Game 5 of the 2007 Eastern Conference Finals against the Pistons. The performance was part of James’ first-ever run to the Finals. This is the first time this shoe has been retroed.
