The Cleveland Cavaliers are still unsure whether or not Kevin Love will be available for Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
Love missed Game 7 against the Boston Celtics with a concussion and according to Tyronn Lue, he is still in the league’s concussion protocol:
Per Ty Lue, Kevin Love is still in the concussion protocol. His status for Game 1 on Thursday is still TBD

With or without Kevin Love, it’ll be interesting to see whether or not Jeff Green stays in the starting lineup. Having Green as a body to throw at Kevin Durant could help preserve LeBron James in order for him to keep the games close. If Love is active, it may lead to Tristan Thompson returning to his role off the bench.
The Cavs are obviously facing a daunting task, as most of the early betting lines seem to indicate that an upset in this Finals would be among the largest in league history. If the team is going to have any shot at pulling this off, they’ll need everybody healthy.
