The Cleveland Cavaliers are facing off against the Warriors in their NBA-record fourth consecutive Finals. The Cavaliers are insane underdogs tonight and in the series, and with Kyrie Irving in Boston, it doesn’t appear that the Cavaliers have much of a chance.
With that said, crazier things have happened. A Game 1 win feels very important as the Cavs beating the Warriors four times in six games would be fairly unlikely. The Cavaliers haven’t been particularly good in Game 1s, so it would appear there’s a problem there.
There’s not much use for a “feel-out game” for LeBron James in this one. He knows what the Warriors are going to run. The Warriors know what the Cavaliers are going to run. This game is going to come down to talent and execution, so oh my goodness are the Cavaliers in trouble.
