With the Cavs’ season done, their focus is now shifted towards June 21’s NBA Draft. And that includes a workout on Saturday with Alabama point guard Collin Sexton, per ESPN’s Dave McMenamin:
No rest for the weary: With the Cavs’ season ending in a Finals sweep on Friday, the front office hosted a draft workout for Alabama guard Collin Sexton on Saturday, league sources tell ESPN.

Sexton is slotted in at No. 12 overall in SB Nation’s mock draft. During the college basketball season, Cavs owner Dan Gilbert attended a game between Sexton and Oklahoma guard Trae Young, another possible pick for the Cavs at No. 8.
If Sexton is the pick, he’d be a longterm play. At 19, he’s still unpolished with his best skill right now being his ability to score. He is, though, 6’3” and 190 pounds — an ideal size for the modern NBA. There’s certainly upside to Sexton as the pick at No. 8.
It is unclear who else the Cavs will work out before the draft. They did have Duke big man Wendell Carter in town this week for a workout and more are expected to happen between now and June 21.
