The Cavaliers announced their 2018 Summer League roster on Tuesday afternoon ahead of preliminary round games that begin this Friday in Los Vegas.
Highlighting the roster are Collin Sexton, Cedi Osman, Ante Zizic and Okaro White. John Holland, one of Cleveland’s two-way players last season, is also on the roster, along with Scoochie Smith who played in eight games last season with the Canton Charge.
Cavs’ assistant coach James Posey will be the Summer League head coach.
If the Cavs are serious about getting in the “player development business” in the post LeBron James era, Summer League is the first step to seeing how the young players react to in game situations.

For the first time, all 30 teams are participating in Summer League action. The Cavs’ preliminary schedule starts on Friday, July 6 and 9 p.m. EST against the Wizards. The game airs live on NBA TV.
