The adventures of Channing Frye and his Instagram/Snapchat account are back!
The Cleveland Cavaliers big man took to Instagram on Thursday to expose one of the funnier character traits of rookie point guard Collin Sexton:
Rookie mistake

This is the second time this summer we’ve gotten a glimpse into the spending habits of Sexton. The first time was in the ESPN rookie roundtable when he was asked if he’s made any major purchases since entering the league. To which he responded with:
Man, I haven’t bought anything. No, I’m cheap. I’m real cheap.
Has Frye in his attempts to roast the Cavs rookie stumbled across the flaw Sexton must overcome to take his game to the next level? Has his habit of being cheap prevented him from dropping dimes at a rate that would make people who value traditional point guards happy? Is the avocado toast lifestyle that so many millennials have adopted put Sexton in such deep debt that his rookie year will be spent paying off bills? Are these questions simply a ploy to fill out a minimum word count on articles during the single slowest time during the NBA season?
We probably will never know the answer to these questions. But the one thing that we can say with certainty is that it’s great to have Channing Frye back. His ability to bring levity to the locker room will be valuable as the team goes through some inevitable growing pains.
