The NBA announced on Monday that Cavs forward Kevin Porter Jr. has been suspended for one game after making contact with an official in the Cavs’ loss to the Mavericks on Sunday.

Here’s the clip, via Uproxx:

s a result, Porter Jr. will not be available when the Cavs play the Celtics Tuesday at home. Considering that he’s playing 18 minutes a game on average, his absence will mean John Beilein will have to tweak his rotation. It could mean more minutes for Cedi Osman and, since Dylan Windler is still out, the first real minutes for Alonzo McKinnie.

Is it good that Porter made contact with the official? No, so it’s easy to see why he was suspended. But it also doesn’t look like this was at all intentional considering he wasn’t looking ahead as he ran forward and collided with the official.

The Cavs and Celtics tipoff tomorrow at 7 p.m.
