There are 28 games left in the Cavaliers’ season. That doesn’t seem like that much, really. It’s not a lot of time for Kevin Love to play and get comfortable with Collin Sexton and Cedi Osman. It’s not a lot of time for anything, really.
But with the trade deadline gone, these last 28 games — making around 34 percent of the season — will shape the outlook of this team heading into the summer. It will somewhat shape where Sexton stands going into the summer and what moves the team needs to make in the summer. And, most importantly for the health of the franchise, it’s not a lot of time to fall out of the top of the draft.
Cavs expected starting lineup: Collin Sexton and four TBD players. No Cedi Osman, Kevin Love might play.
Wizards expecting starting lineup: Bradley Beal, Tomas Satoransky, Trevor Ariza, Jeff Green, Thomas Bryant
