Take of the day

Aside from Zion Williamson, who is in his own class, here are the two prospects I’ve become enamored with in March:

  • Coby White, North Carolina
  • Jarrett Culver, Texas Tech

There are other guys too. But these are guys I watch and think “oh, they would fit well on the Cavs.” Or at least of how little we can conceive of what they’ll look like in 2019-20 at the current moment.

Draft watch

As of today, the Cavs have the third-worst record in the NBA. They have a 52.1 percent chance of landing a top-four pick and a 14 percent chance of landing the No. 1 overall pick. They could pick as low as No. 7 overall.

Today’s Tankathon sim yielded the Cavs the first overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft — aka the right to pick Zion Williamson. The Cavs have a 14 percent chance of landing that pick:

The Rockets pick is currently slotted at No. 25 overall
