Cavs open 2019-20 season Oct. 23 in Orlando

Cleveland’s home opener is on Oct. 26 against the pacers.

The 2019-20 Cavaliers will open up their season on the road.

As announced by the Cavs on Monday, the first game of the team’s season is set for Wednesday, Oct. 23 in Orlando against the Magic at 7 p.m. Cleveland’s home opener is on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 8 p.m. against the Pacers.

The Cavs will play 14 back-to-back games this year and have one nationally televised game: Nov. 8 on the road against the Wizards. Perhaps the most challenging stretch of the season comes after March 8, when Cleveland plays five of its last 18 games at home .The final stretch of the season includes six of the eight games in April on the road. That includes a five-game trip that sees the Cavs play the Jazz, Suns, Kings, Trail Blazers and Warriors.

Cleveland’s final home game of the year is on April 13 against the Netes. The 2019-20 season finale is on April 15 in Atlanta against the Hawks. The full Cavs schedule is available here.
