After beating the Pistons, the Cvas are now in Denver to play the Nuggets. And the Nuggets are very, very good.

Who: Cleveland Cavaliers (11-27) at Denver Nuggets (26-11)

When: 9 p.m. EST

Where: Pepsi Center — Denver, Colorado

Where to watch: Fox Sports Ohio, NBA League Pass

Three things to watch for in Cavs-Nuggets

  1. Paul Millsap won’t play on Saturday, which could give the Cavs a chance to do some good work on the glass. It also means that Denver’s best option for defending Kevin Love in the post won’t play, so maybe the team should lean on him more than normal. It’s maybe the only advantage Cleveland will have.
  2. Whomever Gary Harris guards — likely to be Collin Sexton or Darius Garland — is going to be taken out of the game to some degree. From the Cavs perspective, it’d probably be ideal for it to be Garland. But as a viewer, I’d like to see how Sexton adapts his game with someone as good as Harris on him. Among shooting guards, Harris is fifth in DRPM.
  3. Over the last two weeks, Denver is third in offense, but last in defense, per Cleaning The Glass. Over that same stretch, Cleveland is 23rd in offense and 21st in defense. So if the Cavs are going to pull off an upset here — or at least keep the game close — they are going to likely need to score against a defense that isn’t playing great of late.
