James Harden wants out of Houston and would like to join a contender, preferably the Philadelphia 76ers or the Brooklyn Nets. Houston is “comfortable” going into the season with Harden and Russell Westbrook on their roster.

Dzanan Musa has been traded to the Pistons along with a 2021 second round pick in exchange for Bruce Brown.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope will decline his $8.5M player option for next season, as expected.

Mario Hezonja has exercised his $1.98M player option for the 2020-21 season.

The Phoenix Suns have finalized a deal to acquire Chris Paul from the Oklahoma City Thunder for Kelly Oubre Jr., Ricky Rubio, Ty Jerome, Jalen Lecque and a 2022 first-round pick.

According to Dallas reporter Eddie Sefko, Kristaps Porzingis (knee) will miss the start of the season.

DeMar DeRozan has opted into his $27.7M player option.

James Wiseman said he has not worked out or even talked with the Wolves, the team with the No. 1 overall pick in the draft. Wiseman has worked out for the Golden State Warriors and Charlotte Hornets, though.
