Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Philadelphia 76ers gamethread

How can the Cavs follow-up their win on Monday?

NBA: Miami Heat at Cleveland Cavaliers David Richard-USA TODAY Sports

The Cavs will be down a few players on Wednesday, most notably Andre Drummond due to a calf strain. It’s also Cleveland team coming off maybe it’s best win of the season, a massive comeback against the Heat where Kevin Porter Jr. had maybe it’s best game of the season. And on Wednesday against the 76ers, the Cavs are taking on a team that is downright awful on the road and is without Ben Simmons.

Maybe, just maybe, the Cavs can pull off another unexpected win here. There are certainly matchups I would feel less confident in if I were them. At the very least, seeing how the Cavs defend Joel Embiid without Drummond will be a subplot to watch. It’ll also be interesting to see J.B. Bickerstaff organizes his rotation with both Alfonzo McKinnie and Dante Exum out due to injury. Not so bad for a random Wednesday night in the NBA.
