In a tweet sent out on Thursday, LeBron James tweeted that he was “so looking forward to being back in Cleveland” with the Lakers for a game against the Cavs. The game, of course, was canceled due the NBA season being suspended to the coronavirus.

This was undoubtedly going to be one of the bigger games of the Cavs season because when LeBron is in Cleveland, it’s a big deal. Some of the biggest moments of his career took place in Cleveland and he’s always going to the franchise’s best player ever and definitely the most defining player of the last 20 years.

It’s also unclear when James will next play in Cleveland. The Lakers only come once a year and it’s not known right now what the rest of the NBA season will look like if/when it returns. It’s entirely possible that Cavs-Lakers will be scrapped all together and that the next time LeBron plays in the city will be in the 2020-21 season.
