Andre Drummond’s run in the NBA 2K tournament is over with a 66-62 loss to Clippers guard Patrick Beverley.
On Thursday, the Cavs center went up against Beverly in a quarterfinals matchup with Drummond using the Bucks and Beverley using the 76ers. Drummond was in control for most of the game in holding an a 11-point lead after the first quarter and a six-point lead at the half. Heading into the fourth, Drummond led by one after hitting a buzzer-beating jump shot with Eric Bledsoe.
In the fourth, Beverley took control in what became a defensive game and forced Drummond to turn to intentionally fouling late.
Of the two players, Beverley was the much lively competitor. Case in point:

So there you have it. The lone Cavs rep in the 2K tournament is out without him ever using the team.
