September is finally here and that means that the latest installation in the NBA 2K franchise is upon us with NBA 2K21. With it now out, we know how how they feel about the Cavs and their players. Here is how the Cavs roster ranked out and how 2K Games’ views their respective player archetypes:

  1. Andre Drummond - 85 Overall, Paint Beast
  2. Kevin Love - 82 Overall, Three-Level Scorer
  3. Collin Sexton - 80 Overall, Scoring Machine
  4. Tristan Thompson - 79 Overall, Glass Cleaner
  5. Larry Nance Jr. - 79 Overall, Interior Finisher
  6. Kevin Porter Jr. - 75 Overall, Offense Initiator
  7. Cedi Osman - 75 Overall, Three-Point Specialist
  8. Darius Garland - 74 Overall, Deep-Range Shot Creator
  9. Jordan Bell - 74 Overall, Glass Cleaner
  10. Dante Exum - 73 Overall, Floor-Spacing Slasher
  11. Dylan Windler - 71 Overall, Three-Point Specialist
  12. Matthew Dellavedova - 70 Overall, Mid-Interior Playmaker
  13. Alfonzo McKinnie - 70 Overall, Three-Level Scorer
  14. Dean Wade - 70 Overall, Inside-Out Scorer
  15. Matt Mooney - 68 Overall, Floor-Spacing Slasher

Overall, it feels like 2K Games were a bit down on the Cavs. If anything, Sexton, Love, Nance, Porter, and Garland should all be a little higher. But, it’s only how the team looks at the game’s launch and will likely fluctuate once Cleveland is back playing regular basketball again.

Let us know below how you feel the Cavs are ranked.
