With the Cleveland Cavaliers having acquired Jarrett Allen and Taurean Prince, they’ve also made moves on the end of the roster.
As first reported by cleveland.com’s Chris Fedor, Thon Maker and Yogi Ferrell have been waived by the Cavs.

By bringing in Allen and Prince, the Cavs had to move one player to get to the 15-man roster max and Maker or Dean Wade were the two candidates. Ferrell was on a 10-day deal anyway and likely wasn’t going to be in Cleveland very long. Him being waived also may signify that one of Collin Sexton and Darius Garland (or both) could soon return from injury.
