Cleveland Cavaliers at New York Knicks gamethread

Playing at Madison Square Garden is special. It just is. If you can go see a game there at some point, or even just do the tour if you’re in New York, do it. I promise it’s worth it.

It’s also more special in a packed ground against a actually good Knicks team. BING BONG! Last year, when the Cavs played a few games at MSG with no fans due to the pandemic, it just felt off. And, at the time, I at least didn’t think that the Knicks were legit in any way — I assumed New York beating Cleveland in two of three matchups was more of a product of the latter being a bad team.

But the Knicks, in fact, seem back and Madison Square Garden has fans back. Much like seeing the Cavs back in Toronto, this feels right as the world gets at least a little bit more normal. And if the Cavs, at 6-4, are in fact in improved, maybe this can be a competitive game.

Read Nick Trizzino’s preview for more on the game. We’ll have a recap up on the site and daily links (which are really Monday-Friday links) up too in the aftermath. Enjoy!
