The Cleveland Cavaliers take the floor for the first time this season at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse as they look to avenge Wednesday’s preseason loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.
#Cavs Jarrett Allen on the difference between playing with Evan Mobley and Kevin Love in the frontcourt:

"Obviously on the defensive end, Kevin's 52-years-old, definitely not as athletic or anything."
The Cavs will be without the services of 52 year-old Kevin Love as he recently bumped knees with a teammate in practice. There isn’t too much of a concern about the injury and the Cavs appear to be airing on the side of caution given it’s the preseason. This should give Dean Wade ample opportunity to show how he fits in with the Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell backcourt.
The Sixers will also be shorthanded in the front court as Joel Embiid will also not be playing tonight’s preseason game.
In other injury news, Evan Mobley continues to make progress in his return to the lineup prior to the start of the regular season. He won’t be giving it a go tonight, but hopefully he’s back in the lineup sooner rather than later.

Mobley is still recovering from an ankle sprain but this is good progress.
