Happy Monday, folks. Let’s get after it.

The first sip

Darius Garland, folks, Yes, the Cavs lost. Yes, there’s a lot about that performance that didn’t feel great if you’re Cleveland. Missing 12 free throws and giving up 40 points in the first quarter is a killer. Being without Donovan Mitchell, Jarrett Allen due to injuries doesn’t help either.

But, my goodness, Garland was sensational. The comeback that never was never gets off of the ground without Garland going off. And, based on what he said post game, he’s not at 100% right now. His eye (just based on how it looks) still isn’t right and he’s been sick.

That game is the kind of performance stars can do. Garland’s a star, full-stop.
