The 2022 NBA Draft is here, finally. It’s an interesting night, at least in theory, for the Cleveland Cavaliers, as they have the No. 14 overall pick. (Check out the SB Nation blogger mock draft if you haven’t already.) It seems as if they might have options too, with teams like the Memphis Grizzlies and Denver Nuggets interested in moving up.
But let’s say the Cavs hold at No. 14. Here’s a few things to keep an eye on based on the latest DraftKings odds:
- Auburn’s Jabari Smith, as he has been for some time, is a -450 favorite to go No. 1 overall to the Orlando Magic. Duke’s Paolo Banchero has the next best odds at +380 with Gonzaga’s Chet Holmgren at +550.
- Holmgren, interestingly, is the favorite at -330 to go No. 2 overall to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Banchero is then the favorite to third overall at -400.
- Further down towards the back end of the top-10, two possible Cavs targets — Ousmane Dieng and Johnny Davis — are the favorites to be picked ninth and 10th overall, respectively.
