This afternoon the Cleveland Cavaliers are host to the New Orleans Pelicans. It’s the first home game for the Cavaliers after a ten-day, five-game road trip. The Pelicans, meanwhile, are wrapping up a five-game road trip of their own with Cleveland being the last stop.
For the Cavaliers, there are no concerns in regard to Evan Mobley’s knee according to head coach J.B. Bickerstaff. Ricky Rubio, meanwhile, will also see a slight minute increase as well and should be seeing about 15 minutes of action this afternoon against the Pellies.
New Orleans has no Zion Williamson or Brandon Ingram in this one but is a homecoming of sorts for Larry Nance Jr. and C.J. McCollum. The Pelicans aren’t a good road team while the Cavaliers are dominant within the confines of Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
Something’s gotta give.
