Games 3 and 4 are going to be tests for the Cavs.
One of Cleveland’s biggest issues all season was its road record. The Cavs had a road record of 20-21, making them the only team in the Eastern Conference’s top-six with a losing record on the road. More than anything, that felt like a product of a young time learning as the season went on.
Now let’s see if those lessons pay off. A road game at Madison Square Garden is going to be a loud, hostile environment. And after losing Game 1 at home, the Cavs need one of these next two.
Who: Cleveland Cavaliers at New York Knicks
Where: Madison Square Garden — New York, New York
When: 8:30 p.m. EST
TV: ESPN
Spread: Knicks -2 (via Draft Kings)
Cavs’ expected starting lineup: Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell, Isaac Okoro, Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen
Cavs’ injury report: Dylan Windler (OUT - left foot sprain)
Knicks expected starting lineup: Jalen Brunson, Quentin Grimes, R.J. Barrett, Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson
Knicks injury report: Isaiah Roby (OUT - ankle)
